Brett December 22, 2020 for Model Number WF337AAR/XAA I've not had the washer apart yet but it appears that the front of the outer drum is broke away in several different locations, the boot is torn away in several locations, the pump has had all the impellers torn off of it, I'm assuming that all of this has been caused by the spiders failing. In addition to those parts and any other parts that I've over looked, bearings or seals ect. could I please a parts break down and part numbers. Thank you so much for you're help. Brett
1 Answer Brett, Thanks for the question!!! Here is the link for the parts list and breakdown. https://www.appliancepartspros.com/parts-for-samsung-wf337aar-xaa-00.html As for the parts needed only you can determine that as you disassemble the unit. Bearings and seals are included with the rear tub assembly. Read More...
Wayne July 03, 2020 for Model Number WF338AAW/XAA As the spin cycle comes up to speed the Samsung washer gets noisy and eventually pretty loud. The Spin cycle seems to work fine. The drum seems quite solid so I do not suspect the spider being broken. I suspect the bearing for the spider that are mounted in the rear half of the plastic tub (had a similar problem on a motor bearing one time) The parts drawing doesn't seem to show the bearings, probably because it is sold with the rear tub assy. I have seen kits with bearings and seals for the tub but it doesn't seem to be there either. Can you get me info on bearings/seals and related kits? Maybe a video about this?
1 Answer Wayne, From your description, it would be the bearing making the loud noise. In this model the bearing is not offered by itself. You will need to purchase the rear tub and bearing is already installed. DC97-12957A Read More...
Bernadette October 29, 2018 for Model Number WF328AAR/XAA02 My washer and dryer are 10 years and still look new. Dryer works fine but washer will not complete a full wash. When it spins the tub makes pounding noise and seems off balance. There has been times I found pieces of plastic in washer mixed with clothes. Don't know where it's coming from. Clothes still wet when I do a quick wash the time starts at 35 min, when spinning will check time and time has went down to 7 min when I look again it's back up to 20 min or so. Have to stop washer and wring clothes before can place in dryer. Now clothes are coming out dingy. Had service out said will cost over $1000 just for parts. Can I buy the Drum Assembly and change myself? Or is it better to buy new one. Warrant is not paying enough to purchase new.
1 Answer Bernadette, Yes you could replace the rear drum yourself which would be part number DC97-12957A but may need a spider for the unit as it may be broken which would cause this issue and is part number DC97-14875B. Read More...
Chris October 23, 2016 for Model Number WF328AAW/XAA-0001 I have unclogged the drain hose on this machine multiple times because of the no drain error code and have found what seems to be either sediment build up or pieces of something from the machine. Just recently the machine was not filling and instead leaking all over the floor. I removed the back and discovered that where the drain tube connects to the plastic part of the drum assembly there is a large hole that has seemed to have been worn through. My guess is I need to replace this plastic part of the drum assembly, any other parts that may be affected? I am also not 100% sure on the model number because the numbers on my label inside the door have been worn off.
1 Answer Chris, If the part that is leaking is part of the tub then you would need the rear outer tub which is part number DC97-15328F. Read More...

Melissa October 12, 2014 for Model Number WF337AAL My washer is 6 years old and the assay flange (spider) corroded and broke apart. It also cracked the rear housing where the sensor is located. I am assuming that the large chunks that broke off then got wedged in the back and broke. My question is.... Should I invest in the parts to replace this $400.00 on a 6yr old washing machine.......or just buy a new one. What is the next thing to break on this machine? I have heard people say drum support? or is there other things I should buy before they break (preventive maintenance). It bothers me to just throw it out as the washer/dryer set look like new condition.
1 Answer Melissa, The only parts that would need to be replaced would be the parts that have broken. The drum support is the flange assembly. Read More...
