David September 11, 2017 for Model Number NE595R0ABSR I am having issues with my Samsung electric oven/stovetop combo. The oven does not seem to get up to temperature - we had issues with soupy pizza and lasagna, and when I set the oven to 500 F and measured with my barbecue thermometer near the oven temperature probe, I only saw 320 F. So far, I have checked the following: Temperature probe: 1100 ohms, but replaced anyways Thermostat: replaced Resistance across bake element: 26 ohms Power into oven at distribution block: 245 Volts Power across broiler element during preheat: 245 Volts Power across bake element at preheat: 245 volts Bake element physical inspection: no concerns While testing the bake element, I noticed it would only cycle on for 7 seconds at a time, with twice that much time or more between turning on for cycles. Do you have any ideas what this might be, or any next troubleshooting steps I could take? Your help is appreciated. Thank you, David
1 Answer David, Check the wiring between the sensor and the main control board on the unit to make sure that it is good and if it is then this will likely be a faulty control board. Read More...
Jenna August 23, 2017 for Model Number NE595R0ABSR/AA-0000 The only buttons on my stove that will work is the roast convection, chicken nugget and pizza. The cooktop works and oven heats, but I am not able to change the clock, use the regular bake functions, self cleaning mode, pretty much everything else is useless to me because the buttons won't work. Will this unit take care of that issue? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Jenna, It is more likely the membrane switch DG34-00020A causing the issue if the connection to the board from this switch is good. In rare cases the control board DE92-03045F could be the issue. Read More...
Sharon M August 01, 2017 for Model Number NE594R0ABSR/AA-0000 Assy Pcb Main;led,oas-AG Part Number: AP5653328 Made by: Samsung I bought the above part to fix our error code SE on our oven and trying to find a video for the replacement of it. but every video I see shows an entire module with the face on it but not just taking out the board and replacing it. Is this board the only thing I need or do we need more parts to fix this?
1 Answer Sharon, The SE error code is normally caused by a stuck key on the touch pad and would need to replace the control panel of your unit for this issue. Read More...
Nathan July 06, 2017 for Model Number NE594R0ABSR/AA-0000 I had a sears guy come out and look at the unit, and he said the board needed to be replaced. I replaced the board, could see the burnt out transformer on the original, and now the unit still does not display anything on the display. He said there was voltage being delivered to the original board, so I assume the new board is getting power, but not sure what's wrong.
1 Answer Nathan, If there is power to the main control board but no display is coming up then this would be a bad control board. Read More...
Gary June 13, 2017 for Model Number samsung ne594roabbb The oven will no longer maintain temperature after it heats up. From what I have read it seems that the main control panel needs to be replaced. Is that the proper fix?
1 Answer Hello Gary. Test and make sure the sensor is good on the unit. If so, then yes, you will need to replace the main board on the unit. Read More...
Hari June 10, 2017 for Model Number NE595R0ABSR The display flashing -SE- . The top burners are working but the oven does not. I unplugged it for about 15 min but the error returns soon after power is applied.
1 Answer Hari, This issue would most likely be caused by a stuck key on the keypad and would need to replace the keypad DG34-00020A. Read More...
Steve April 21, 2017 for Model Number NE595R0ABSR Turn on oven and temperature on display quickly increases and beeps like it is done pre-heating before the oven actually heats up. Oven temp eventually heats up but it takes at least 30 min just to reach 400. Convection fan doesn't blow either. Checked and replaced temperature probe but that didn't fix it. Does the control board need replaced?
1 Answer Steve, Based on having a new temperature probe and what is going on with the unit, this would most likely be caused by a faulty main control board. Read More...
Bryan January 29, 2017 for Model Number NE595ROABSR L.E.D display has been disappearing slowly for a year now and is at the point that I can no longer read it but we had a storm last week and many power surges later all it does is flash some code and only the burners work, when I try to clear it all I get is beeping. The oven no longer works, so I unplugged it and tried it again to no avail. I think the PCB is toast but would like your opinion. Thank you.
1 Answer Bryan, This issue would be caused by a main PCB which would be part number DE92-03045F. Read More...
Elvira November 30, 2016 for Model Number NE594ROABSR/AA After using the self clean feature my oven is locked and will not turn on, what part or parts need to be ordered to get this oven working? I only had it for four years. I purchased it in November 2012 right before Thanksgiving and it went out the day after Thanksgiving this year.
1 Answer Hello Elvira. You will need to test the thermostat DE47-20037A and see if it is bad. If it is good, then replace the main board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
