Steve, unfortunately, the spider DC97-18234A for this model has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. However, the drum assembly DC97-18235A would be available for replacing the spider.

Jose, Thanks for the question!!! If a washer will not go into high speed spin, it is likely out of balance or the water has not drained. So you will want to check if your drain pump DC31-00054A has managed to remove all the water. If so check to see if the spin basket is centered in the tub. If the basket moves (not spin but move side to side or up and down) independently inside of the tub you may have a broken spider DC97-15491A. If both the pump and the spider are okay, replace the shock absorbers, two on the front DC66-00470A and two on the rear DC66-00470B.

Thomas, You didn't mention if there were any noises when the washer was spinning. First check to make sure the washer is level, and on solid flooring. Check the balance ring in the front of the tub make sure it's not cracked, chipped or broken. If all's ok, you'll need to check the spin basket and tub bearings for excess wear and tear. Grasp the tub front with your thumbs and press up on the spin basket or balance ring, there should only be a 1/4 inch up and down play in the tub, anything more would indicate a worn out tub bearing,
