Jenny March 12, 2018 for Model Number RF263TEAESR/AA I emptied the ice bin in freezer on Friday. Ice maker has not made ice since. I pushed the reset button two different times but nothing happens. I can feel ice in the tray but it won't dump. Freezer temp is -1. It was working fine up to that point.
1 Answer Jenny, You will first want to make sure that the icemaker is not turned off at the dispenser and if it on then the icemaker would be the issue and would need replaced. Read More...
Cindy January 08, 2018 for Model Number RF323TEDBSR/AA-0001 Where can I find instructions on how to install a new bottom ice maker for this Samsung refrigerator? Thanks

Jim C. August 31, 2017 for Model Number RF197ACBP/XAA Where does ice maker module DA59-00294B go and how do you install it?
1 Answer Hello Jim, This is the control head of the icemaker. It goes on the end of the icemaker assembly. To install, remove the icemaker and disassemble to install the new part. I'm sorry but the manufacturer provides no further information on this repair. Read More...
Allen K August 15, 2017 for Model Number RF323TEDBBC/AA We have two ice makers and the bottom one has completely fallen out into the ice tray. How do I remove the drawer so I can try and re-install the Ice maker? The top one has been a constant headache with the ice freezing up against the wall and creating an ice dam. We have had warranty work done on it several times where they installed a new seal and we still have this problem. Now our warranty has expired. The unit was built in May of 2012. Any advice?
1 Answer Allen, To remove the drawer assembly you will need to first remove the upper rack by lifting it up and out of the frame. Once you have this out and with the drawer pulled all the way out there will be a slot at the back of the rail assembly that you will push in on. There will be one on either side, once you push this tab you will be able to slide the drawer out with the rails. Read More...
Leah July 08, 2017 for Model Number RF26HFENDSR/AA we had a water leak going to the ice maker. we changed the water diversion valve. now we can't get it to start working. When we press the test button it turns over then fills with water. If you push the button later it empties the tray, rotates back and fills with water again. It just won't do it by itself. Is there a timer or something that could be out? it is only about 3 years old.
1 Answer Leah, With the icemaker not cycling on its own then this would most likely be a faulty thermostat on the icemaker and the icemaker would need to be replaced. Read More...

Christopher July 05, 2015 for Model Number RF323TEDBSR/AA My Samsung RF323TEDBSR/AA has 2 Ice Makers.. the bottom ice maker overflows and causes a big Mess. There looks like there was a switch there at one time but appears to be broken. this looks like switch that would shut the ice maker off once it has reach capacity of ice. I also am looking to replace that top drawer that holds the ice bucket in the bottom ice maker as I had to break it when the ice maker overfilled and froze the whole unit in place. Can you help me figure out what parts to buy?
1 Answer Christopher, The part number for the upper freezer drawer on your unit would be part number DA97-12638A. The icemaker that would be needed is part number DA97-07603B. Read More...

Dave July 05, 2014 for Model Number RF217ACWP The cord for the DA59-00294B assembly is hanging down into the ice bucket in our freezer. This is the cord with the white trapezoidal piece on the end - not the cord with the plug on the end. Where should the white trapezoidal piece be placed inside the ice maker?
1 Answer Dave, There should be a piece of foam that the sensor sits into and clips to the front bottom of the icemaker mold. If the foam piece is missing then you would need to replace the icemaker assembly. Read More...
