Bill May 19, 2015 for Model Number RS267LABP I have a Samsung refrigerator. The evaporator motors are making noise. I want to replace them but am showing 2 different motors for my model. DA31-00020E and DA31-00146E. I know my model has twin cooling so do I need one of each motor or two of one or the other. I called Samsung and they told me it doesn't matter which one I use. I think there are two different ones for a reason, maybe rpm or voltage or something.
1 Answer Hello Bill. You will use DA31-00020E for the fresh food and DA31-00146B for the freezer. Read More...

Dave October 19, 2013 Is this rated at 4.8 watts? I note there is a third wire. Do you know what it is for? I'm looking for a 12 Volt 4.8 DC evaporator motor no longer manufactured. This looks like it would fit, but my old part has only two wires, black and red. Simple DC!
1 Answer Dave, This motor is rated at 3.48 watts and will not work for your old motor. Unfortunately we are not showing a part like the one described. Read More...

Mark W S May 17, 2013 for Model Number rs2578sh Please advise of detailed installation instructions for this part. I was advised that this is the direct replacement of the original part, and I now need to know how to do this.
1 Answer Mark, You will need to remove all shelving in the freezer compartment. Once all the shelving and icemaker assembly is out you will remove the screws that are holding the rear cover in place. Once screws are out you will need to get the cover off and can access the motor at this point. Read More...
Chris D March 22, 2013 for Model Number Samsung RS2530BWP Hello, My freezer seems to be working fine however the fridge side is not cooling. It is a Samsung RS2530BWP. I have placed a thermometer inside the fridge and its showing 68 deg. The freezer is around 20 deg. I have replaced the main PCB in rear of unit and there has been no change. I tested the defrost sensor in the fridge side and resistance increases as temp decreases and i believe it to be working. There is no ice build up on the evaporator coils. Unplugging for a while and plugging back in has no effect either. I cannot seem to locate the air circulating fan motor that moves air to the fridge side. Can you tell me where it is or have any other suggestions as to what the problem may be? I have located a fan above the evaporator coils and it seems to be working properly (comes on when freezer door switch is pushed or door is closed). I appreciate any help you can provide.
1 Answer Hello Chris. You will need to check the damper assembly in the top back part of the refrigerator and make sure it is opening to let the cold air into the fresh food section. Read More...
