Francisco April 19, 2020 for Model Number Samsung RS257BARB refrigerator I bought a used refrigerator for repair with no evaporator cover and no fan on the refrigerator side. It has 3 connectors: one green on left side and two connectors on the right side, could you tell me what are each connector for ? because I got a cover and fan assy from a similar fridge, that fits mine but it only has 2 connectors. I want to make sure to connect them in the right location. I couldn't find any information on the web about it. Thanks,

Elle July 03, 2018 for Model Number Samsung RS2556SH The refrigerator temperature began to rise three months ago and would not drop below 59. I have replaced the Defrost sensor. It worked well for 2 months, and the temp began to creep up. I next replaced the thermistor and the door switch (it began to malfunciton some time ago). The refrigerator runs fine for a month or so and then the temperature begins to creep. I just had to defrost it again Sunday. I ran the code for the electronic diagnostics and the result was error with refrigerator defrost. (what a shock...) Is there any thing else I should look at? I purchased the refrigerator in 2004 and it still looks new.

Brent November 09, 2017 for Model Number Samsung RS265TDRS Had problem with refrigerator side about 6 months ago with fan icing up, fan was making a loud noise. following advice here I was able to defrost with hair drier and problem was solved. Now I am having problem with freezer side, after taking off pannels... top coil and copper tubes running to coils is frozen/Ice covered but rest of coils are not. After defrosting with hair drier again I get same problem after turning back on. Freezer shows temp is -20 but will not freeze a popsicle (or anything) leaving overnight. it is a little colder than refrigerator side (which is working fine now) but not much. do you think its a fan issue, thermostat, something plugged in line, OR something else :)
1 Answer Brent, Based on your description, you have a restriction in the freezer evaporator coil. The frost and ice on the top coils is where the refrigerant is or has flowed, the rest of the coils that aren't frosted or iced is where the refrigerant isn't flowing, due to the clog in the system. Ralph October 23, 2017 for Model Number Rf263aepn/xxa I've looked everywhere for part number for evaporater motor behind cover in fridge area. The part number I came up with is da3100146h. 1 Answer Hello Ralph. You will need to order DA31-00146H for the fan motor needed. As for the ice issue, you will need to look for a defrost issue. Check the Bi Metal DA47-00243K and the heater DA47-00424B inside the unit. If both are good, then you will need to replace the main board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Rob February 16, 2017 for Model Number RS265TDRS/XAA 002 Will it do harm to my refrigerator to use DA31-00146E as opposed to DA31-00146J? I've ordered the "E" version and it's arriving today. I don't want to wait several more days as I have all my food in coolers. 1 Answer Hello Rob, This will have a large impact on temperatures inside the unit since there is such a vast difference in RPM between the two motors. The current draw will be different enough it could impact the on-board electronics.
