Ryan July 21, 2013 for Model Number Wfg381lvs My oven will preheat and get to temperature then the temperature will drop. It will not stay at the desired temp. I measured the ohms at room temperature to be 1080, and 1700 when it said it was at 350. Do you have a suggestion on what to check next?
1 Answer Hello Ryan. It sounds like the probe is good and you will need to replace the control on the unit to repair the issue. Read More...
Chris B June 14, 2013 for Model Number GW395LEGQ1 My problem is similar to Renae's. I checked and replaced the oven temp sensor. The new sensor is good, but I'm still getting the F3-E0 fault code. I saw that you recommended that she check the ERC/Clock and possibly replace that. How do you check that?
1 Answer Chris, You will want to check the wiring from the sensor to the control board to make sure that it is good. If it checks ok then replace the control board. Read More...
Susan May 29, 2013 for Model Number gr556lrks1 Do you have the part number for the keypad assembly associated with error code E0-F2? I can't find it. Thanks,

Doru M April 19, 2013 for Model Number whirlpool gold accubake electric range - GR450LXHQ2 We get F1 error code after 20 minutes of baking. After cools off a bit and then the oven starts working again. Do you think it is the oven temperature sensor?
1 Answer Doru, The F1 error code indicates a board failure and would need to have the control board replaced. Read More...
Renee April 05, 2013 We got the F3EO message. we ordered and installed a new temperature sensor, but are still getting the message....what is going on here?
1 Answer Renee, you will need to test the resistance of the sensor circuit at the ERC/Clock connector to verify the sensor and wiring are in tact( 1050 to 1100 ohms resistance at room temperature) . If all's OK, you'll need to check or replace the ERC/Clock. Should you need more assistance, please include a model number when you post your request. Read More...
Sawyer September 11, 2012 for Model Number Whirlpool Electric Oven #?? When set to "Bake", the bake element comes on during pre-heat, (glowing red), but after the pre-heat cycle it does not turn on. On "Broil" the upper broil element functions normally. No error codes are displayed.
1 Answer Hello Sawyer. You will need to do the 10 minute test. Preheat to 350°. Then test the oven sensor and see if the ohms goes down from 1650 ohms. If not, replace the sensor. If it does, replace the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Kathryn July 31, 2012 for Model Number GR450LXHQ2 The bake, broil and convection elements in my oven will not heat up. The control panel shows pre-heating. There are no default codes that show up. Can you give me a idea what is my problem.
1 Answer Hello Kathryn. You need to test for power coming from the clock assembly 9782087CB to the elements. If there is none there, you will need to order and replace the clock assembly in the unit. Read More...
Patrick July 26, 2012 for Model Number GR556LRKS0 My oven is throwing E0 F3 the most, and also E4 F3 routinely (when you cycle through the codes). I checked both upper and lower oven sensors and they are at 1k ohms each so I am concerned to replace one or both of them and have the same problem. Symptom: During bake cycle, almost guarantee that the oven will cut-off and throw those codes within 5-25 mins. Sometimes use of cooktops may aggravate the symptom worse? Sometimes, the front control panel will blank-out the display when this occurs... until everything cools down which is unsettling. Any silver-bullet solution? Thanks in advance!
1 Answer Patrick, it sounds more like your cooling fan or the cooling fan thermostat, is not functioning properly, and the control board is overheating and getting scrambled. The thermostat is an "open" circuit and closes when the temperature in the control assembly 155 dgrs. the thermostat closes and the cooling fan should run to cool the area. Read More...
