George H November 05, 2016 for Model Number WTW8240YWO My three and half year old Whirlpool washer (cabrio) has just started making a loud noise during the spin cycle. The sound is somewhat like a fighter jet taking off. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks George

Peggy June 27, 2014 for Model Number WTW6340WW0 My washer was making a real loud noise like a jet taking off when in spin cycle and is leaking water. Thought it could be the bearings but I don't see that there is a a bearings kit I can buy for my model. Is there or could it be something else. Would like any help I can get.
