Tara June 29, 2015 for Model Number WTW4850XQ0 Hello, my washer does and does not spin. Its random if it does. When it doesn't it starts sounding like the drum is starting to spin, then we hear a grinding (gurrrrrrr) noise and when the load is completed all the clothes are still soaked with water. I preformed the error check three times and no errors. The sensor light far left is the only one that blinks or comes on. I propped up the washer checked underneath. the belt is tight and no loose screws/nuts on the belt casing. Any recommendations? I'd hate to replace the sensor actuator for $50 bucks and have it be something else. thanks Tara

Kalani June 23, 2015 for Model Number MVWX700XW2 Hello, my washers spin cycle was not working. I can see the motor trying to turn the basket but the basket did not want to move. Error codes f7/e6, f7/e5, CL, f7/e1, and f0/e0. I turned he washer on its side and was able to get the tub pulls to spin and I disconnected and reconnected all the wires I could get to. I then hooked up the washer and it ran but now during the rinse cycle the spin is loud like something rubbing or a bad bearing. Another sound I've been hearing for quite a while is between cycles a click, click, click....click sound. Any help would be much appreciated, Kalani

Julie June 02, 2015 for Model Number WTW5500XW0 My washer does not agitate but it spins out, Could this be the shift actuator? I can hear the motor and thought everything was working fine, it seemed to be going through all cycles but my clothes were not getting clean. After running a small load and watching it cycle I seen it was defiantly not agitating explaining why my clothes were still dirty. I already checked the belt, looks fine.

David May 27, 2015 I have a whirlpool top loader. When I hit start, there is a brief noise than the lid lock light keeps flashing and won't go off until I unplug the washer. Cindy May 14, 2015 for Model Number WTW5500XW3 My top load Cabrio didn't spin a load of clothes. Tried to reset to spin, lock light comes on, seems to try, then stops and lid lock unlocks. Repairman came, said it was mode shifter. When he changed it and turned it on, it made a super high screeching noise. Repairman said noise must have been building for at least 6 months as it was a very expensive bearing that had to be replaced. Here is my problem, the machine never made any noise like that before he turned it on. He insists that it must have been making a noise and that i was not being honest. The machine was not making any noise prior to it not working. Could the repairman have broken the machine? He lifted it up from the front, putting it on about a 30 degree slant.
