Roy September 24, 2011 for Model Number lsr8233jq1 My washer washes the clothe's, but it does not do anything after the washing cycle. What could be the problem ?
1 Answer Hi Roy. Does it fill with rise water? Remove the back of the control panel. Remove the pressure switch hose and blow into it towards the tub. Did you feel any restriction moved? Use another hose and blow back into the pressure switch. Did you hear any "clicks" as the switch internally re-set itself. Reinsert the regular hose. Put the timer at the end of the wash cycle and see if it will advance normally into the drain so it can also spin. If so then you will need the pressure switch assy. part # is W10820051. Try this before replacing the timer part # is WP3953146. Thank you. Read More...
Kevin September 21, 2011 for Model Number 11026912690 I have a Kenmore 90 Series that I need to get the panels off to replace tha water pump. How do I remove the panels?
1 Answer Hello Kevin. Disconnect the power to the unit. Remove the two screws in the back corners of the control panel securing the control panel. Pull the control panel forward and flip it backwards. Next unplug the lid switch and remove the two brass colored clips securing the cabinet to the back wall using a flat blade screwdriver to pry them out. Pull on the front of the cabinet and slide the cabinet off the frame of the washer. You can now access and replace the lid switch 3949247V. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
Paullin September 15, 2011 for Model Number lsq8543jq0 whirlpool washer Clutch and brake ok, no broken or worn parts, but no spin.
1 Answer Hello Paullin. Have you checked to see if the lid switch 3949247V is bad on the unit? If so, it will prevent the washer from spinning. If it is good, and the motor runs, but the unit does not spin, you will need to check the drive tube assembly W10820043. Hope this helps. Read More...
Paullin September 13, 2011 for Model Number whirlpool washer lsq8543jq0 I replaced the gear and pinon because plastic gear had worn down, put new oil in and reinstalled all components. Now washer wont spin.

Kristi September 13, 2011 for Model Number wtw57esvw Washer has been working fine (less than 1 yr old). My husband stopped it in middle of a wash cycle & forgot to start it back. I noticed it next morning (load sitting in tub full of water) & I finally got it to spin water out but it won't do anything else now. Does it "think" it's still needs to finish this load cycle? Is there a reset button somewhere? I feel like this it a problem that we possibly caused rather than a broken part. Any ideas?
1 Answer Hi Kristi. Is it completely empty now? When you start a cycle does it fill and then stop? If so you will need the lid switch part # is WP8318084. Thank you. Read More...

Ptc August 23, 2011 for Model Number 110.26892690 The water keeps running until I shut it off at the switch. I was advised by a local repair tech to replace the water pressure switch, which I did and the problem still exists. I tried the switch with the old hose and the new one as well. 1) If I'm reading one of your posted answers correctly, I should have replaced the valve (AP3094541) instead? 2) With the tub full of water from testing the pressure switch, after multiple attempts, the washer's cycle switch would "intermittently" drain the water and complete the cycle. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. My 2nd question is should I also replace this part as well? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello! If the water continues to fill unless you shut the appliance off the water inlet valve is bad and needs to be replaced. Your part number is 285805. Thanks. Read More...
Robyn August 11, 2011 for Model Number LSR7333PQ4 My washer is not draining or agitating, and my husband cant spin the washer tub in either direction.
1 Answer Hello Robyn. Is the washer making any noise from the motor? If not, you may have a bad lid switch assembly WP8318084. It should read closed with the lid closed and open with the lid open. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
