Steven November 11, 2011 for Model Number LSR7233EZ0 Not sure if this model # is correct for my whirlpool, there is no model on the unit. It says whirlpool heavy duty super capacity...supreme. Anyhow, it seems to agitate slow, but that's not my biggest concern. It is horrible in the spin cycle. It came to the point where I recently would have to rig the lid to stay open, and give the machine a push, in order to get it spinning well. Now, It hardly wants to spin at all, even with help. So, I flipped it over, expecting a bad belt...but I don't see a belt. I pulled 3 bolts to try and remove this large hunk of steel (transmission??) and I couldn't get that out of there either. Any ideas on a fix??
1 Answer Steven, There are a couple of things you'll need to check. The drive coupling, and the clutch and brake assembly(s),and the spin tube and bearings for excess wear 285753A 285785 W10820043 . The "slow" agitation could be due to a slipping agitator due to partially stripped splines on the inside of the agitator WP3347288 . Heres a post from the APP Repair Forum that should be helpful, [http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/washer-repair/3265-replacing-direct-drive-washer-brake-shoes.html] Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
1 Answer Hello Mary. Disconnect the power to the unit. Release the two clips under the corners of the control panel securing the control panel. You can use a flat blade putty or butter knife to do this. Pull the control panel forward and flip it backwards. Next unplug the lid switch and remove the two brass colored clips securing the cabinet to the back wall using a flat blade screwdriver to pry them out. Pull on the front of the cabinet and slide the cabinet off the frame of the washer. You can now access and replace the part needed. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
Dee Dee October 31, 2011 for Model Number LSN1000PQ2 My machine fills up with water, but the wash cycle will not start. What is the problem?
1 Answer Hello Dee Dee. You will need to check and see if the lid switch WP8318084 is bad on the unit. If so, it will cause the problem you are having. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Dan September 27, 2011 for Model Number WTW5200VQ2 RUNS IN EVERY MODE BUT WON'T FILL WITH WATER. CHECKED HOSES AND FILTERS ALL ARE OK
1 Answer Dan, On your washer, you most likely have an issue with the ATC switch WPW10184148, But you should also check the water level switch W10339334 and air dome hose for kinks twists and clogs. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
Roy P September 26, 2011 for Model Number JSR8233JQI My Whirlpool washer doe's not go into rinse cycle after the clothes are wash'ed what could be the problem ?
1 Answer Roy, The model number you supplied is for a range, but the place to start is the water fill valve. Most newer washer automatically select a cold water fill for the rinse cycle. You'll need to check the cold water faucet, the fill hose and fill valve debris screens for clogs and debris, and clean them. After you check, if the problem persists, replace the water valve.
