Hello Robbie. To remove the agitator on this model, you remove the cap on top of the agitator by pulling up on it. Once this is removed you will have access to the innards of the agitator. Once the parts inside the agitator have all been removed you will see a bolt. Remove the bolt and the agitator will lift out. I hope this info helps.

Hello Richard. It sounds like you could have a bad motor, timer or a wire is causing a short. You will want to look at the wires going from the motor to the timer and verify it's not a wire causing the short. You can test the motor using a multi meter MA-DM1, you will want to touch each pin on the motor with one probe and the other to the casing of the motor. They should all read close to pass the test. The timer will be tested the same.
