I have this kenmore washer top loadert on spin cycle with clothes or with out clothes the machine acts like it is out of balance, I replace the drive block but no help, I took off the balance ring and that stop the out balances problem, put the balance ring back on and back to the original problem , there is fluid in the balancing ring and don't see any place fluid would be leaking... with out the balncibg ring it seems to be working ok, with the balacing ring it does not... I have check all of the springs and wear pads and don't see any problem.. I have level the machine twice with no help... got any clues

Michael, You will want to check the drain pump to ensure that there is nothing caught in it. Pull the inner tub and make sure that there is nothing caught between the inner and outer tub. If these check ok then you will want to check the clutch and brake for a broken clutch lining.

Hello Denman, You can remove the cabinet and pull the tub cover to expose the clips that lock the balance ring to the spin basket. You can now tell if the balance rings saline solution is still intact.

Bud, You will want to use a flat blade screwdriver and get in between the tub ring and tub and in order to get the balance ring off.

Hello Bill. Make sure the suspension spring WPW10250667 is attached properly. If so, then check to see if the balance ring lost the liquid in it. If so, replace the balance ring. It needs the liquid to balance the unit.

Glenn, Most likely the suspension pads have worn down unevenly and need to be replaced. The part number for the spanner wrench is TB123B.
