Whirlpool WP387240 Balance Ring OEM Part

I first checked to make sure the washer was level. The washer is on a concrete floor. After watching lots of you tube videos I ordered all the parts that could be causing this problem. I ordered: Balance Ring, Suspension Pad Kit (3 rectangle plastic wear pads), Tub Suspension Pads(3 curved plastic wear pads), Suspension Spring, and a Spanner Wrench tool. After getting the washer apart it was obvious that the problem was the Tub Suspension Pads they had completely worn away so that only the hold down pins were left. I went ahead and installed all the new parts except for the Balance Ring. Washer now works great. The repair took a little over an hour, but some of the time was cleaning the tub and agitator etc...

The washer was my daughters and she lives 2 hours away. I purchase everything that could be responsible for the repair. It all disassembled quickly. I took the time to clean the guts of the washer including the outer and inner tub. Took my time on reassembly. Washer is again stable and no shaking or walking during the spin cycle. Thanks for the videos ..... very, very helpful. The gift card with the packing slip was a nice touch. My daughter is happy with her washer again. The spanner wrench was worth the cost.

REPLACING THE SUSPENSION PADS AND REPLACE THE BALNCE RING EVEN IF MY DIDN'T LEAK ANY FLUID OUT OF IT... IT SOLVE THE PROBLEM, IT WORKS BETTER NOW THAN IT EVER DID, THE ONLY THING I COULD COME WITH IS THE MANUFACTURE PUT THE WRONG BALANCE RING IN IT TO START WITH... MY IS A 400 KENMORE TOP LOADER, IT IS THE EASIES WASHER I HAVE EVER TAKEN A PART.. I WISH CARS WERE THAT EASY... IT TOOK ME OVER A MONTH FIGHTEN THIS PROBLEM UNTIL I FOUND IT ON YOUTUBE... WHAT BLESSING IT WAS...

I replaced the Counterbalance Spring, all 6 of the Suspension Pads, and the Ring Balancer. I also replaced the Agitator Dogs and Thrust Space Washer because they were very worn. It works like a charm now!!!

Checked on line for diagnostics. Followed a video from Youtube.there was a Link to Your site and ordered parts. took maybe 30 mins and seems to be working fine!
