Hello Brother Paul, The heating element WP3387747 should read 7.8 to 11.8 ohms of resistance with no continuity to ground. The connections to the element do not matter since this is a non-polorized part, (the wires can be swapped and operation will not be affected).

Hello Mom, If stopped up you can use a wet vacuum to clear the hose amd chase it with weed eater line. If it is not stopped up you can simply pour a bit of white vinegar in the boot to flush the drain.

Hello Thomas. There is drain holes at the bottom of the seal that lets the water drain back into the tub. Also, try to keep the door open so it can air dry.

Steven, To remove the black tube you would just grab ahold of it and kinda twist and pull it out. You would just push it back into place on the new one.

TW, There is a pressure switch that could be faulty or the hose and air dome are clogging causing higher than normal fill level. This would not cause the unit to leak water from the bellow. You will want to check the bellow for holes that are leaking.

Manju for Model Number GHW9100LW1

I have a washer model GHW9100LW1. One of Whirlpool reseller says the front door boot seal or bellow is 8181850 and local Whirlpool reseller says 8182119. Which is the correct? Also on my existing bellow there is a hole and this connects from soap dispenser. I want to get the right part and also has a hole to attach from soap dispenser. Can you please help? Last but not least can I use the existing clamps front and rear which holds the bellow? Thank you very much.

Manju, based on the appliance model number and manufacturer website parts list, the replacement boot gasket is part number WP8181850. Yes, you should be able to reuse the existing clamps. Thanks.
