Manufacturer Part Number: WP8182119

The Bellow Tub Seal is an OEM part for Whirlpool washing machines. This part acts as a flexible seal between the door and the drum of front-loading washers, preventing water from leaking out during operation. Note: The clamps do not come with the seal. For clamps order W10902779 and WP8182210

Causes of damage to the bellow tub seal often include regular wear and tear from frequent use, the buildup of detergents and chemicals that can degrade the material over time, and physical damage from overloading or from objects caught between the door and the drum.

Symptoms of a bad Bellow Tub Seal include:

  • Visible cracks, holes, or tears in the bellow
  • The accumulation of mold or mildew
  • Water leakage from the front of the machine
  • Clothes getting caught or snagged in the damaged areas of the bellow

This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.

Hi Jennifer. Yes this is the correct bellow for your unit. Front Bellow Tub Seal - Used on some Duet front load washers and is the main seal between the front bulkhead and the outer tub. Clamps are not included. If clamps are needed order WP8182210 and W10902779. Item Number: WP8182119. Do not attempt this without ordering the clamp part # WP8182210. It is the back clamp. It is a worm type that is made to work one time only. You will not be sorry because the original one will not re tighten and you will be disappointed w/ a leak. Thank You.

Kevin F for Model Number GHW9150PW0

I must replace the door lock latch on our Whirlpool Duet washer. In order to get the access that I need to remove and install the latch, I must remove the front side of the rubber bellow tub seal without damaging it. I can't peel the rubber back from the metal lip. I have tried everything that I can think of. Is there a special tool or trick for doing this? Thanks! I have tried to access the lock latch from the top, but I cannot reach all of the connections.

Kevin, here's some help from the service manual : " REMOVING THE WASHER DOOR AND DOOR SWITCH The washer door can be removed by removing the upper left shield cover and hinge cover. Open the door and remove three screws securing the door hinge to the washer front and lifting upward.(Normally, you don't need to remove the door). Access to the door switch requires that the water seal boot be removed from the front of the washer. Use a flat bladed screwdriver at the location of the retainer spring and pull the retainer forward and then off the perimeter of the boot.(You need to "roll" the edge of the seal bach, to find the cable and spring). Ease the edge of the boot off of the lip of the washer front near the door switch. Remove enough of the boot to gain access to the door switch behind the washer front panel. The door switch is secured to the washer front panel with three screws. Once these screws are removed, the door switch will remain in place until it is lifted slightly and pulled back from the washer front panel." You can then slide the assembly out the opening between the boot and front panel, switch the wires from the original assembly to the new, and reverse the procedure. Thanks and Good Luck
