Peter November 05, 2016 for Model Number MFI2269VEW1 Nothing but inside light appears to be working. The press and hold for 3 seconds button does nothing but illuminate all digits to 888. When pushing the up button for freezer, it makes a sound as if a small motor is running for a couple of seconds. Then when the down button is pushed, it again makes the same sound except at the end, it makes a click as if something plastic snapped by a stop. What's up?

Ken April 18, 2016 for Model Number MFI2067AE8 Overlay was flashing and fridge not starting. Would come on for awhile then go out again. There are reports that the internal bypass mechanism doesn't "seat" or open properly when the filter is changed and the water flow is reduced, if not totally eliminated, and what little bit of water passing through the head assembly causes a humming noise similar to a faulty fill valve.
