James September 06, 2016 for Model Number MDB7749SAM0 Hi, The start light flashes continuously and the washer will start on its own when the door is shut. I took it apart and tried to ohm out the touchpad, but I don’t know the pin out. I put it back together, turned the power back on and it worked completely properly. I ran a load and when the wash should have been about done, the start light started flashing again and went into self-starting again. Please note that in this self-starting phase it does run through the wash cycles, it just does it continuously. Thank you

Frank June 12, 2016 for Model Number MDBH979SAM1 Hello, appliance will no longer run a cycle normally. Board seems to have failed (again) it was replaced once in warranty already, now the dishwasher is 3-4 years old failing again. If replace the control board, is there any way to protect it or stabilize it in some way- heat shield anything to keep it from failing again so soon. Seems to be a VERY common issue.
