Dave B August 27, 2011 for Model Number RBD275 The oven just turns off completely. Then after a day or an hour, it beeps and displays an error code: E6 F2 What does this code mean? I know the control panel is not available to be replaced. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Dave, the model number you've provided is incomplete. We went ahead and used (RBD275PDB10) to locate the following information (we will need your complete model number to verify this information is the same for your unit). The error code F2- E6 is: A Cancel key drive line open. 1. Make sure the keypad connector is connected firmly. 2. Press cancel, if the error code returns replace the keypad WP8300429. 3. Replace control 8302967. Hope you find this information helpful! Read More...

Ed June 09, 2011 for Model Number RBD305PDS14 I have a double oven that the digital lighting on the control board slowly faded over time and stopped working. Ordered a new Electronic clock control board and replaced the old one. Now the buttons for upper and lower oven and oven off will not work. Tried reinstalling the panel and now I get an E1 F5 code (self clean latch lock) and unit shuts off after a couple of minutes. Upper and lower oven buttons still don't work.
1 Answer Hello Ed. If you replaced the control board and the control panel does not work properly, you will need to make sure the ribbon cable is seated properly. If so, you will need to replace the control panel WP8300435. Hope this helps. Read More...

Carolyn May 16, 2011 for Model Number gbd307pds09 The upper oven, top heating element started to spark last night. The bottom oven seems fine. I know I have to replace the top heating element. Today, the clock is very dim, and I can't see any other numbers (temp etc), though the bottom oven is still functioning fine. Do we have to replace the control panel too or is there a chance there is a fuse that was blown? This is the second control panel we have replaced in 6 years. Sorry if this was a duplicate question, I couldn't tell if it really posted.
1 Answer Hello Carolyn. For the upper broil element you will want to order WP9760771. If a fuse is blown on this board, then it should not work. Unfortunately you would need to replace the display WPW10438751. This part is on a National Back Order, you can call 877-477-7278 for further details of availability. Thanks! Read More...
Donny April 14, 2011 for Model Number whirlpool rbd275pds15 Hi. I have had my double oven for 5 years and probably used it a total of 10 times. The control screen is now blank and just makes a beeping noise when I push any button. The oven light still turns on when I open the door so I know there is still power. What do you think this could be? Please help. Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Donny! It seems that the control board is going out on the unit, part number WPW10438751. The manufacture is no longer supplying this part. Sorry! Read More...
Rose B. April 09, 2011 for Model Number RBD245 I've had my built in double oven since July of 2006, last week for the first time I used my self cleaning feature, it still had 1 hr and 15 mins. to go and the circut board fried and everything shut off, the top oven door remained locked, even after it cooled off. Is this common? So I found out a new circut board will cost $250. plus. I can't afford to buy a new circut board everytime I clean my oven. Care manual says not to use oven cleaners in my ovens, so how do I clean them????
1 Answer Rose, are you sure the circuit board 4448876 "fried" or did it just go blank/dead ? Quite often on this product, the thermal fuse / thermostat open because of a temperature problem. It shuts off power to the control board and everything goes dead WP4450934 and WP4450249 these are "one shot" safety fuses and don't reset. They are located on the back of the oven, so you will need to remove the unit from the wall to check and replace the part if either one is an open circuit. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
Joann March 23, 2011 for Model Number rbd275pdt14 Thank you for the quick answer to my last question. Would you say I need the same part for the other half of my question which was, all the push buttons performed ok, except the one's for shutting off the upper and lower ovens. First the upper stopped shutting off and then the bottom one started doing the same thing. I could set the temp, broil etc. The oven worked fine but I had to shut off at breaker box. When it went back on the unit was off and ready to work again if I pushed the on button.
1 Answer Hello Joann. If the keypad is bad, or has a stuck key, the command will not work to shut off the ovens. It will only recieve one command at a time, so if a button is stuck, it will not shut off. Hope this helps. Read More...
Jo Ann T March 22, 2011 for Model Number rbd275pdt14 I have a double wall unit that I bought in 2004. For the last six months I have not been able to turn the two ovens off. That control doesn't work so I have to go to the main circuit panel box and shut it off that way. All other controls worked. Today the display now shows F5 & E1 for the lower over and F2 & E1 for the upper oven. Now none of the push buttons work at all. The electric control board is not available anymore and the only way for repair is to have it removed, sent out to have it repaired. Please help. I'm desperate.
1 Answer Hello Jo Ann. The code you gave is for a shorted keypad. WP8300429 Hope this helps. Read More...
Tanya M March 19, 2011 The temperature gauges won't turn on? Oven doesn't work and makes a beeping noise.
1 Answer Hello Tanya. Check and make sure 240 volts is coming to the oven. Then check and see if you have power to the control board. If power is present, then the board is bad. Hope this helps. Read More...
