Silva September 22, 2019 for Model Number RBD305PDB14 I have a double oven since 2004. The clock started going dim then completely disappeared. When I push buttons they beep however nothing displays and ovens will not heat up.
1 Answer Hello Silva, the display is part of the main control board assembly and has worn out, the control board is part WPW10438751 but is unavailable as the manufacturer has discontinued it. Read More...
Jay W. April 16, 2018 for Model Number RBD305PDS14 My builtin double oven display went blank. All buttons just give beep sound without doing anything except for Light button which does turn on and off the lights. I remove the main control board and replaced all five capacitors with the matching or higher rating. I put the control board back and I got PF on display. Then the display is all working and both up and down ovens are working. But after about 10 minutes or so the display became blank again. All is back to the old state.
1 Answer Jay, You will need to check the voltage and wiring from the control panel transformer WP9760587 / WP9760587, to the control board WPW10438751 / 8301917 control board. Connector P16 pins 2 to 3 (blue wires) should read 12-24 VAC, P16 pin 5 to 7(red wires) should read 120 VAC. If the voltages are in range(+/- 10%) and constant, you'll need to replace the control board. Read More...
Janet March 21, 2018 for Model Number RDB305PDS15 I am having problems with my Whirlpool Double Wall Oven. The oven is 11 years old and I have replaced the Control Panel twice when I received the E6n0F2 Error Code approximately 5 years ago. The display is very dim when I am using the oven and I don't dare use both ovens at the same time. Recently the oven started beeping (I hadn't used it in a couple of days) and when I looked at the display it was asking me if I wanted to clean. I hit upper off and it went off but within a few minutes it did it again. I could not get it to cancel so finally had to throw the circuit breaker. The next morning I turned the power back on and it seemed ok. I used the upper oven for about 45 minutes and it went crazy, beeping and again asking me if I wanted to clean. I should point out that the oven was not dirty. I turned the power off again and later turned the power back on had pressed the upper oven cancel button for 5 seconds and it gave E6n0f2 code once again. Which part do I need to replace? Control Panel Assembly with the Membrane Switch or the Assembly Control, or both. Thank you
1 Answer Janet, For the display being dim then this would be the most likely cause would be the transformer WP9760587. For the issue of the buttons beeping then this will most likely be caused by a faulty control panel. Read More...
David February 08, 2018 for Model Number RBD305PDB14 My Whirlpool double-oven (built-in) is randomly beeping at times. The display works, there are no error codes showing, and the oven functions fine. It will beep 3-4 times (sometimes multiple times in a day) and then not do it again, sometimes for days/weeks. When it starts doing it repeatedly, I'll turn off the breaker, and then turn it back on, and it won't beep again for a while. Which part could be causing this? It seems that it would be the control panel or the control board? Thanks
1 Answer Hello David, This would be an issue with a sticking key on the control panel WP8300435. Read More...
John M September 08, 2017 for Model Number GBD307PDB09 The oven works as designed. Problem is, the digital display is on but "VERY" dimmly lit and difficult to see. Is this probably an Electgronic Control Board problem? I'm guessing there's no way to increase the brillance of the LED display.
1 Answer John, This issue will most likely be caused by a weak transformer which will be part number WP9760587. Read More...
Matthew August 15, 2017 for Model Number RBD305PDB14 Control panel went dark. Light comes on when door is opened but only beeps when start buttons pressed. Is it the control panel or thermal fuse?
1 Answer Hello Matthew. Test the thermal fuse and see if it is good. If so, then replace the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Mattie W May 21, 2017 for Model Number rbs275pvq02 baking checked meat found temp not heating all controls are working on control board temp setting , timer ,light ,everything but will not heat or broil any suggestions
1 Answer Mattie, First check and make sure you have 220 - 240 VAC to the wall oven, then remove the power and visually inspect the elements for any damage or broken areas on the element and remove the element and check that the wires are attached to the element terminals. If all is OK, replace the control board. Read More...
Lori D May 16, 2017 I have a whirlpool double oven model GBD307PDS09 and I have an error of E6 F2. The control panel has gone blank, beeped on and off for several days and now is just displaying this error. Can you confirm what part I need?
1 Answer Lori, The F2 E6 error code represents a cancel key drive line open. Check the keypad connector for firm connection. Press cancel and if the error code returns after 60 seconds replace keypad. Otherwise will need to replace the control board. Read More...
Chris December 27, 2016 for Model Number RBD306PDB14 The display on the control board is completely dark. The only feature that used to be visible was the timer/clock but now is completely dark. Everything works but you can't read the display. Does the entire control board need to be replaced?
1 Answer Chris, You will want to test the transformer on the unit to make sure that it is good. If the transformer is good then this will be a control board issue. The transformer part number is WP9760587 and can be tested by checking for 120 vac at the p16 connector between pins 5 and 7 for 120 vac and if there is power there then test from the p16 pins 2 to 3 for 12 to 24 vac. If there is no power at this point then transformer is bad. If there is power at this point then the control board is faulty. If there is no power at pins 5 to 7 then the control board is faulty. Mike P December 20, 2016 for Model Number RBD305PDS15 I purchased the touch panel and replacement control board (AP60214141 [W10438752 G REV B]) from you to replace my old ones. The original control board is Whirlpool part # 4463664. The connections for the boards are identical EXCEPT the new replacement board does no have the P27 connector. The Electronic control pinout spec sheet indicates the two pins being used were "not connected" any way so I wasn't too worried about that. I replaced the parts and everything for now works fine EXCEPT the oven light is backwards. When the oven door is closed the light is on and I cannot turn it off. When the door is open the light is out but can be turned on. It seems the switch connected to the oven door is backwards than what it was before. I switched the wires with no luck. I disconnected the wires but got an error message. Right now I just took the bulbs in the two ovens out but know that won't last long before the wife complains. Any ideas? If I could reverse the oven door switch (pressed in off - out on) I would be golden. Something is wired backwards and I am not smart enough to figure it out. HELP!
1 Answer Mike, The part number that shows as being the correct control board for your unit would be WPW10438751 and the W10438752 is not showing for your unit. Read More...
