Justin, The part that connects the 2 pieces to turn would be part number WP2220457. If the auger is not turning then you will want to check to make sure that the lower portion that is on the door is not stuck in the down position on the shaft. If it is then remove the rod from the door and run hot water over it to get it to thaw.

Will, You forgot to include a model number for your refrigerator. But the icemaker control board W11629974 is pretty much "universal" to all Whirlpool refrigerators with an IDI system. But the Emitter cover WP2198587 is more specific to the model number. You'll need to get the model number off the production tag in the refrigerator, so you can order the proper parts for the proper refrigerator.

Hello Txrancho, This is normally attributed to the door liner L2327937S warping. If you used a hair dryer to thaw it instead of a hot wet rag as the manufacturer recommends, it has most likely warped and the door assembly will have to be replaced to correct the issue.

Rowen, Check to make sure that the auger in the ice bin is turning and if it is turning but will not turn and the motor does not turn but sounds kind of jumpy or just hums then the motor would be the issue as opposed to the ice container.

Hello Melissa, You will want to check the coupler on the ice bin. The part that is on the door that connects to the ice bin. There are 2 1/4" screws holding shaft in place. Pull the screws and the assembly. Check to make sure that the coupling sleeve is not frozen in the down position. If this is the case the unit will not dispense. If it is in the down position, pull it off and dry thoroughly. Add a little lubricant to the shaft to keep it from freezing.

Hello Martin, The auger W10852517 could be changed on its own or you could replace the entire bin WP2258250. The screw is loctite in place and is difficult to remove. You want to make sure that the auger is not just loose. Make sure that there is no ice build up on the coupling which is causing it not to make contact. If there is ice build up between the two components you can put a grease between the two to keep from building ice.
