Jerald September 03, 2014 for Model Number mah5500bww My Neptune washer stops at the spin cycle and will not complete the wash. What might be wrong?
1 Answer Hello Jerald. You will need to check the pump, door lock assembly, and the balance switches. Either will prevent the unit from spinning. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Bart June 17, 2014 for Model Number MAH5500BWW Serial number A9658631ER. Pump motor burned up. Replaced motor, spliced in new connector for motor. Now I get FL when trying to start. Replaced door latch assembly, no change. Metered latch solenoid through wiring harness for the control board, wiring is OK. Looks like control board. Here are my questions: 1. Do you agree with my troubleshooting? 2. What control board part number do I need? 3. Even though I installed the door latch assembly, can I return it? Would appreciate a prompt reply. I'm getting tired of laundrymats.
1 Answer Hello Bart, FL is the code for the door failing to lock. Specifically it says: Door lock monitor switch in door lock mechanism unable to communicate to the control board that the door has locked. Action to be taken: (1) Check wire connections in harness leading from machine control board to the door lock mechanism. (2) Check solenoid and door lock enable switch in the door lock mechanism. (3) Replace responsible component. Read More...

Phillip February 04, 2014 for Model Number MAH5500BWQ Model MAH5500BWQ (sn B9793234GV) When the door is closed the lights all come on and I can set the cycle as I wish but nothing happens when I press start. In the past we would open/close door repeatedly and it would finally go. I never see an error code, it just sits there. I'm thinking it's the control board. Which is the correct board ( Part Number AP4027450 or AP4027824)?
1 Answer Hello Phillip. You need to check the door latch assembly on the unit. If opening and closing the door worked before, it sounds like a latch issue. Read More...
Phillip January 30, 2014 for Model Number MAH5500BWQ Previously the washer would light up but would not go when you press start and eventually we would get it to go just by pressing off, opening/closing door in no particular order or sequence. At some point it would respond when we press start. This time there is no response. You can set the cycle to whatever you want but after you press start nothing happens, after you walk away are return when you think about it again all the lights are off. They immediately come back on when you open the door. Close it and press start and nothing happens. Please advise.
1 Answer Phillip, You will want to check the start button on the touchpad to make sure that it is good and if it checks ok then most likely the issue will be with the latch assembly. Read More...

Marc Y. July 16, 2013 for Model Number MAH5500BWQ Hello, Our washer no longer works consistently in with all settings. It is fine when set to warm wash/cold rinse, but in any other temperature settings the electronics become very flakey - lights will blink randomly, the countdown timer will skip, cycles won't complete, etc. Does this sound like something replacing the control board might address? Thanks, Marc
1 Answer Marc, With the issue that you are having of the unit not working properly on any setting but the Warm wash and cold rinse would be caused by a faulty user interface which would need to be replaced. Read More...
