Bob B December 10, 2017 for Model Number JJW9130DDW Oven temperature runs too hot. I have adjusted by owners manual down by 35 degrees but it still runs hot, also I have replaced the temperature probe to no avail.
1 Answer Bob, Check the wiring between the oven sensor and the control board to make sure that it is good and if it is then this will be an issue with the control board of the unit. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Sylvia, As per the service manual you will need to open the door as wide as possible and remove the four screws from the bottom of the control panel. Grasp the control panel on the left and right and lift up and out to disengage from the upper flange. Take plenty of pictures to use as a reference for the installation of wiring on the new panel. Leta November 24, 2015 for Model Number JJW9130DDB The key pad is not responding on certain keys. I believe the problem is in the control panel (74008957) but I would like to confirm this before purchasing a new one. Is there any way I can check the function of each key on the control panel to verify what I suspect. Thank you for your assistance.
1 Answer Hello Leta, You should first check the connections at the ribbon cable. If no problems are found, the control panel 5765M487-60 is the next suspect even though the control board 74008952 can be the cause, (less likely). Read More...
John March 11, 2015 for Model Number JJW9627bab Oven is flashing an F1 code and beeping. What part do I ned to repair this?
1 Answer Hello John. For the F1 code, you need to test the oven sensor and make sure it is good. If so, then the unit is sensing a shorted key on the keypad. If the keypad is not shorted, you will need to replace the control board WP71003401 in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
