For Whirlpool Washer Motor Control Board (Part Number: OEM18062070)

Janiel for Model Number 110.47561601

Hello, we got this Kenmore he2t front loading washing machine as a gift. It ran well for several months then started getting codes F21 and Sd codes. We replaced the drain pump assembly then it worked again for a little while. Then we noticed the cold water stopped working and then we got F01 code. We tried unplugging it for 2 min then trying again and it would run for a bit then stop with F01 code, then we tried unplugging for 15 min and tried again with the same results. Then we left it unplugged all night and tried again the next morning with the same results. We researched a little online and some people mentioned replacing the water inlet valve others, the CCU, some day to check wires to make sure things are all still plugged in. Wondering if you had any other advice or if any of these are the right direction to go. We've been looking for a new CCU but it seems many are all sold out and it also seems like they may have stopped selling the old part and come up with a new model of part for the CCU which is also sold out? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!!

Janiel, You are going down the right path as far as the water valve or the CCU. To determine which may be needed, test for 120 vac to the water valve when the unit is turned on and it is calling for water. If there is 120 vac then remove the hoses and check the screens to ensure they are not clogged up. If they are not then replace the valve. If there is not 120 vac to the valve and the wiring is not damaged then the CCU would need to be replaced.

Scott, the error code provided is identifying a communication failure between the central control WPW10525362 and the motor control WPW10384843. If this error occurred only after replacing the drain pump, the wires would need to be inspected for any loose connections. If there is not a loose wire connection, and no wires are broken, the central control would be the most likely cause of failure. In regards to the overfilling, if water is coming through the cold WPW10212596 or hot WPW10212598 valves when there is not voltage being applied, the specific valve has failed.

Steven Woodward for Model Number NFW7300WW01

Amana Tandem 7300 Washer Otten, but not always, stops on rinse or drain cycle with error code F1E1. Does not seem to matter if setting is heavy duty, delicate, hot or cold, etc. I have thoughly cleaned the pressure tube, air chamber and rubber boot the connects air chamber to drum. There was a lot of gunk in there so it felt good to clean out, but did not fix the problem. Drain motor was making a noisy grinding sound, but still pumping strong. Replaced it but did not fix the problem. What is the next thing to try ?

Steven, With the pump having already been replaced, this issue will be caused by a fault in the main control board which is part number WPW10525367.

Jim for Model Number wfw9150ww00

I am working on a whirlpool duet model wfw9150ww00. It refuses to go into the final high speed spin. I had asked you if you thought it could be the main board #w10525361 and you said if it were draining properly it could be the board. I'm referring to the board in the top right side of the machine. Now I'm wondering if it could be the motor control board #w10384843 in the bottom left side of the machine. I do find there is always suds present which I think is due to the soap build up between the back of the basket and the support arm or (spider arm). Thanks!

Jim, This issue would most likely be the main board located on the upper right side of the unit.

Hello Jim. Check and make sure the unit is drain properly and the bearing and shaft is good in the unit. If so, then it is very possible the main board could be the issue with the unit. You can test the motor resistance on the unit. They should read around 6 ohms on each motor terminal. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Wendy, This is a communication error and you will want to start by checking the harness between the central control and the motor control. If this checks ok then this will most likely be a bad central control unit.
