For Whirlpool Dishwasher Electronic Control Board (Part Number: OEM18056136)

Robert for Model Number KENMORE 665.13122K703

Have Kenmore Dishwasher 665.13122K703 and sometimes you can hear it actually washing the dishes and sometimes when you run a cycle the dishwasher will run through the cycle to complete but youwill not hear that it is actually washing the dishes. You will hear a lot of clicking like a relay but the wash cycle itself will not start yet the dishwasher will show the cycle is complete i.e. clean light comes on. Could this be the control board?

Robert,
Based on the information provided I would check the wash motor with a multimeter at the time it should be washing to see if it has power. If it has power and is not running then the motor is bad and would need to be replaced.

Hello Joseph,
with top of door mounted keypads, you have 3 seconds to close the door once start pad is pressed, if this start procedure is becoming erratic the keypad/console is failing part [W10056365].

Corey for Model Number 66513129K703 kemore elite dishwasher

Hello, My dishwasher tries to start then stops and gives the 6-1 code. The valve seems to start but then stops immediately. I've replaced the inlet valve and the same thing happens. I've tested the float switch by jumping the 2 wires together and is a no go. Next I made sure the drain hose was clear and poured water in the base and started the drain cycle and it worked fine. I've also ran the diagnostic test which ran successfully it seems. Any advice would be appreciated. I've also taken a look at the control board to make sure all the connections were secure. thanks again corey

Corey,

With the valve not getting voltage to it then this would most likely be caused by a faulty main control board on the unit.

Bob,

You will want to check the heater thermostat and make sure that it has continuity. If there is no continuity then replace the thermostat otherwise the control board would be the most likely issue.
