Dave for Model Number KGRT607HBS9

I had an open neutral wire connection on a neutral share mult-circuit cable. The 110v became a 240+ votage.I repair the open neutral connection. The 110v ciruits are ok.I have no digital deplay and the oven functions are not working. The top gas range igniters and burners are working. Is there a fuse that protect the main control board or microcomputer? Do I replace the main control board #2 on the parts diagram or the replace the microcomputer#10? I have a 4 year old kitchenaid Superba model no.KGRT607HBS9 Please Help

Hello Dave, There is a thermal cut out behind the control panel that you will want to make sure is not blown. If blown thermal WP341196 will need to be replaced. If the thermal is good then you would want to replace the main control WP9782455.

Hello Cheryl. You will need to remove the ribbon cable and pull up on the plastic clip on the back of the control board WP9782455 and insert the ribbon cable. Then press down on the clip and it will lock the ribbon in place on the control board. Hope this helps.

David, First thing, check or replace the oven temperature sensor WP9782081. It can be tested for resistance readings (1050 to 1100 ohms at room temp. 1750 ohms at 400 dgrs.) the resistance on the circuit is there, but it's most likely out of range. Thanks and Good Luck
