Hi Mark. Remove the top/front upper vent grill. Above the control panel is a metal grill plate that needs to be removed. This gives access to removing the control panel upper screw. Lift up and out on the control panel. You will only have a very little area to pull out on the control because of a green ground screw holding it. Once this screw is removed, then note all connections on the control board for proper re-installation. Set this aside. Open the door. There are 2-screws that hold the switch bracket assy. part # 53001363 to the side of the cabinet. Remove these screws and In stall the switches part # 4392027 as needed. Thank You.

Hi Carl. Behind the control panel and in front of the capacitor is a thermal fuse which may be shorted and telling the board an overheated condition existed, and the fan needs to run to cool down the unit. They use this to obviously alert the customer of an issue. Thermostat part # 4158368. Carefully unhook one wire and the condition should stop. Be extremely care full as high voltage is stored in the capacitor and you don't want to come in contact with the terminals. Thank you.

Hello Rudy. If the bulb and the socket are good, it sounds like the control board R9800350 is bad on the unit. Hope this helps.

Bruce for Model Number MH7115XBQ-5

I think our microwave door switch is bad. The control panel timer will count down the time but the magnetron motor does not hum nor does the microwave heat. The door latch spring seems to have good tension (when I push the latch handles upward). When I pull slightly on the door handle or open the door and press start- the microwave usually starts to work correctly. Do I probably need a door interlock switch kit? Your schematic shows 3 sets of them. I guess I have to test for the bad one(s) using a resistance meter. Does this sound like the probable problem? Thanks- Bruce

Hello Mark. On your old switch you will see COM by one of the terminals, and either NC or NO by the other one. Connect the wires from you old switch to the correct terminals on the new switch, according to these markings. Hope this helps.
