  • Works with the surface control to use the inner ring alone or both inner and outer rings
  • Common symptoms: burner won't heat, only one ring heats, slow or uneven heating, visible scorching or damage on the element
  • Helps restore consistent temperature control and full dual-ring operation

  • Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing; elements carry high current
  • Lift or remove the cooktop to access the element
  • Note wire locations and transfer any mounting brackets/clips from the old element
  • Center the element under the burner outline and secure all connections before restoring power

Hello Wes. According to the model number and information you provided, the front left eye is a dual element and not a single element. The correct switch is WPW10149355 and is a dual switch, WP3149404 is a small element switch, and WP3149400 is the large element switch. Hope this helps.
