The Oven Bake Element is an OEM part for Whirlpool ovens. It is a component responsible for providing the heat necessary for baking and cooking. This element is located at the bottom of the oven and heats up when electricity is applied, allowing for consistent cooking temperatures.

Symptoms of a bad Oven Bake Element include:

  • Uneven baking results or undercooked food
  • Lack of heat generation even though the oven is turned on
  • Visible damage to the element such as blistering, cracks, or breaks

Causes of a bad element can stem from natural wear and tear, excessive cooking temperatures overextending the element's capacity, or electrical issues causing the element to fail prematurely.

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
