Tex February 08, 2017 i have a whirlpool refrigerator with the push buttom in the bottom left grille under the freezer door i use the everydrop3 filter. i have changed the filter in the past using the same brand filter with no issue, but the new filter will not connect. I have tried 2 brand new filters with the same result, however I can remove and replace the old filter with no problem.

1 Answer Hello Laurie, If running a couple of gallons of water through it does not make the water better, you may need to try another new filter. Flavors are normally from the water supply and it may take a while for the flavor to go away if there is some reason in the plumbing for the flavor. There is nothing in the unit that can produce flavors but in extreme cases, when the water has set in the unit for a long time, the tubing and water tank may need to be replaced also if the water has set in the unit for an extended period of time.
