For Whirlpool Refrigerator Water Dispenser Tube Kit (Part Number: OEM9539871)

Priscilla B. for Model Number KSRB25FHss01

My KitchenAid Superba is leaking from my water dispenser. I checked all the connections and there are no leaks and all connections are nice and tights. I read on technicianBrian.com website about a part called "Fitting Kit" and then it then took me to your website. His Frig model was different so I was hoping that I could use the same part for my model ? I am able to repair my washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, etc., but for some reason, I can't figure this one out. PLEASE supply me with a couple of options because I really do NOT want to call a service person. Thanks,

Hi Priscilla. The fitting part # is 8201537.Here are the instructions from the manufacture. Hope this helps. Installation Procedure 1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power. 2. Remove existing water tube and/or bracket. 3. Install the bracket using the screw. 4. Slide tubing of the valve assembly into the water tube conduit. 5. Place heat staked joint portion of the valve assembly into the notch of the bracket. 6. Press the tip of the valve assembly into the bracket such that the bracket tab locks into the hole. 7. Remove slack in tubing by pulling from bottom of door. Verify that the valve assembly is vertical and seated properly in the bracket. 8. Cut tubing to appropriate length and connect to reservoir union. 9. Run several glasses of water through device until drum section is full. Drum fills only by cyclic dispensing not continuous dispensing. 10. Verify that there are no leaks at union or valve assembly. Thank You.

Austin for Model Number 10652562100 Kenmore side by side regrigerator

I was attempting to replace the ice and water dispencer arms on my refrigerator. I couldn't figure out how to get at the ice dispenser arm, so I just put it back together. Then I found a stray part that looks like a small piston. I can't figure out where it goes, but the ice arm won't engage the ice dispenser motor. The diagram ( http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Kenmore-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/Model-10652562100/0582/0165000/P0104023/00008 ) doesn't show the part, but it may be #8 - part of the door chute assembly. Can you tell me how to connect the #8 part in the diagram?

1 Answer

Hi Austin. The usual stray part that looks lie a piston is actually that seperated from the rest or the outer sleeve. There is a Ice door kit assembly part # is W10823377 that you will need that has complete instructions for repair. Thank you.

If you refer to the dispenser diagram for your unit you will notice #14 part WP2162361. This is the microswitch the levers will activate.
