Hello Frank, You should first make sure the unit is properly leveled and securely mounted under the countertop. If it can move around it will prevent the door switches from making electrically. You will need to make sure the door latch hook that mounts on the top of the dishwasher is properly adjusted and tight so it cannot move. If these two things do not take care of the problem, you may need to replace the door latch assembly WP99002240.

Gary, You also want to check the door latch strike WP99001355 on the tub opening, center top, make sure the latch is adjusted properly and secured tightly. Make sure the tub and door are aligned properlt(you may have to adjust the feet on the bottom of the dishwasher). If alls OK and proper, you'd want to consider the latch assembly 99002254 and the handle W10834433 as a unit

Tammy, There weren't that many issues with this style door latch 99002254 and handle assembly W10834433. You'll also want to check and adjust the door latch on the tub 903098 if it is broken or loose and out of adjustment, the switches won't activate, and the door wont "lock" and the dishwasher won't start or run.
