1 Answer Jeff, Based on this information, when the unit stops heating you will want to check at the terminal block and make sure that you have 240 vac across the outside wires on the block and check from each of the outer wires to the center wire for 120 vac. It sounds like you care loosing one side of your power supply. You will want to do the same thing at the outlet to make sure that there is power there. Kate December 06, 2013 for Model Number Whirlpool Dryer LER4634JQ1 I replaced the thermal fuse and have checked the heat coils and all 3 thermostats with a multimeter but the dryer continues to run with no heat. The timer dial does advance when the dryer runs. All wiring appears to be intact. What else could be wrong?
1 Answer Hello Kate. You need to check and see if the motor or timer is bad and is not sending 120 volts to the heater and make sure you have 240 volts at the terminal block of the dryer.
