Note: This door hinge is for Stainless Door Models.

The Door Hinge is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool wall ovens. It is located on oven doors and works to support the door for smooth opening and closing motions when removing or checking on food.

Causes of a bad door hinge can include wear of internal bearing surfaces from thousands of door cycles over many years of use. Exposure to heat from inside the oven cavity may also accelerate hinge component deterioration over time.

Symptoms of a bad Door Hinge include:

  • Doors that are difficult to open fully or fail to stay securely in position
  • Noises and grinding sounds heard while operating doors
  • Improper or imbalanced door alignments that cause sealing or binding issues
  • Premature wear of adjacent gasket and sealing surfaces

This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, Jenn-Air and select Kenmore models.
