Hello Vic, It sounds like you either have a frozen fill cup or deteriorating icemaker. If the fill cup is freezing over then you would have a bad water valve which is allowing water to come into the icemaker when the unit is not calling for it. Tricking in. If the mold is deteriorated then the icemaker would leak, usually at the bottom. If this is the case you would need to replace icemaker.

Hi Bruce. Yes it does seem like the module needs replaced. This part # is 8201515. Ice maker Motor Module - Refrigerator ice maker control module kit fits most models with in the door ice containers, comes with ejector arm and ice stripper . If your model has the regular ice maker use part # WPW10190965. Ice maker - only. It is recommended that you use parts off the old ice maker. Thank You.

Hello Sandy. If the icemaker, water valve and filler are new, and there are no frozen line, and still no water, you will need to look for a loose or broke wire in the harness. Also, make sure the connections on the icemaker and the water valve is good, and none of the water lines are kinked. Hope this helps.

Hello Sam. Make sure the water filter EDR3RXD1 is good on the unit. If so, you will need to check and see if the fill tube for the icemaker is frozen. This can prevent the icemaker from filling when it cycles to bring in water. Also check and make sure the water is turned on. Hope this helps.
