Josh April 14, 2011 for Model Number TS25AGXRD02 My ice maker has a drip between ice mold and black housing. It drips into ice tray and clumps all the ice that has been dumped. It does not leak water out of inlet pipe when not installed or not filling. any ideas? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Josh. You will need to check and see if the icemaker is over filling. If so, the valve W10408179 may not be shutting off quick enough, causing the icemaker to overflow. Hope this helps. Read More...

Brian March 21, 2011 The ice bin is in the proper position. The freezer temperature is good. The optics test all passed. So, what else could it be, that causes my ice maker to only spit out ice, maybe once a month?

Brian March 18, 2011 for Model Number GS6NBEXRS01 I am trying to figure out what parts I need.. Two questions.. My whirlpool gold side by side, is only 2 years old. It will only make ice, maybe once a month. Water fills the tray, but it just sits there.. Then one day, it dumps it and we wait another month.. Now, all of a sudden, when we do get our once a month ice.. it wont dispense. I hear and see the trap door open, but nothing happens. Please assist so I can buy the right parts from you. Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Brian. Make sure the ice bin is in the proper position and locked in place on the door. Make sure your the freezer air temperature is between 5 and 7 degrees F. When you open the freezer door, on the right side wall the panel has an on/off switch and a LED bulb. Is the light on, off or does it blink ? If there's no light , the icemaker is stuck in a harvest mode. If it blinks twice and pauses, press in on the flapper assembly on the left wall. If the blinking pattern persists, you have a bad optics control assembly and will need the control board kit W11629974. As for the dispenser motor, you'll need to remove the upper panel in the dispenser area. Under the ice bin, remove the screws and panel and lift the motor assembly up and out of the door panel and check for loose connections or damaged motor. Hope this helps! Read More...

John February 28, 2011 According to the diagnostic using the jumper to test the water supply pump and then the unit, my whirlpool motor module is bad. Although the unit is several years old, it has never been used. Is there a setup step that I may have missed when hooking the unit up to a water supply?
1 Answer If the valve is good, and the water is hooked up, then it should work. Did you jump from T&H on the module? On some models, you will need to hold the door switch closed while jumping T&H for the icemaker to go into harvest mode. If it doesn't move, then you have a bad module. Read More...
