Just Me, Your JEC9530AD* Cooktop has a "custom" control and 3000watt dual element, a "universal" switch isn't available for that particular burner. There is a "direct factory replacement part" W10823734 / W10485918 Radiant Element kit, which has all the parts and instructions you'll need to repair and upgrade the right front "custom" control and element.

I am looking for a replacement Infinite switch for the front right dual burner. I'm having a hard time finding the correct replacement part #. The markings on the original control are: Maytag # 8507P193-60 PN 34010003. The existing control physically looks totally different than any new control I have seen. The original has a circuit board and the wiring configuration and plugs are totally different from any I have seen. Need to know the correct part # to order and if there are instructions on how to resolve the wiring differences and the use of different type plugs?

Tom, the manufacturer only supplies the infinite switch as a kit with the wiring and element, part number is W10823734. The kit will include instructions for installation. Thanks!

Gary, If you are replacing the small element switch then you have the wrong switch. The switch that you received is a dual infinite switch for the dual element. The switch that you will need is part number WP74011242.

Hello Tom, Since you didn't mention which elements would not turn on, I'll list them all. First off, the dual element infinite switch is part number 12002121. This one is for the right front element. At this point, the manufacturer states that if a longer shaft is required for this switch, order part number 12002125. For the single elements, the front left and center elements will use part number WP74007840, and the right rear and left rear use part number WP74007841. Let us know if we can assist you further.
