James B January 23, 2013 for Model Number GHW9200LQ The only ( cycle completed) green light is lit up on the user interface, after replacing the CCU. ( 8181924). Before replacing the CCU, the user interface 8181866 was totally dead. Is the user interface dead?
1 Answer James, Based on your post description, yes you'll want to first check and make sure that the wire harness between the U/I and the CCU is properly installed and no loose connections or twists or pinches in the wiring. Then replece the U/I WP8181866 . You may want to program into the diagnostics and test modes, clear any error codes and allow the washer to run the complete test cycle. Read More...

John B January 14, 2013 for Model Number GHW9200LQ The start button made a snapping noise and no longer depresses. I removed the interface panel and took the button out, it was a piece of plastic that had dry rotted and gave way. The control panel works fine, is the housing available so I can swap out the interface parts onto a new housing?
1 Answer Hello John, The housing for the control board is not sold as a separate piece and you would have to replace the user interface board WP8181866. Read More...

Tim June 16, 2012 for Model Number GHW9200LW I ordred AP8182311 thinking that it was the entire control panel only to find out that I needed the interface also. I do not need the circuit boards so do I order AP3128748 (includes circuit board) or AP3181674 (appears to be the interface without the circuit board). How do you get old control knob off?
1 Answer Tim, You would want to order WP8181866 based on the model number you supplied. The WP8182056 is for a different model number ( Ghw9250ML0 ), so don't chance it. But either way, they both have the circuit board installed at the factory. As for the control knob, you do have to be careful, but it does pull off. We're sending you some additional information that should help you out. Thanks Read More...
Tim June 13, 2012 for Model Number GHW9200LW 1.) Can you get the interface without the circuit boards? 2.) What is the difference between AP3128748 & AP3181674? 3.) Does the interface come with control knob shaft? 4.) How does the control knob come off?
1 Answer Hello Tim! The user interface WP8181866 is not available separate from the board. The user interface WP8182056 is used on the GHW9250 models whereas the interface WP8181866 is used on the GHW9200 models. We do not have the specs available to verify the exact different in the two user interfaces. The user interface will include the control shaft. The knob will pull off away from the shaft. Thanks! John C. January 28, 2012 for Model Number GHW9200LW When turning the select knob, the led light will not follow it past the "gentle cycle" nor will it allow anything above the "gentle cycle" to work. Normal cycle, heavy duty, whitest of whites ect will not fuction. When you turn the knob 1 choice above gentle cycle (counter clockwise), the led light goes down the the cylce below gentle and if you go one more chule counter clockwise the led light goes down 1 more selection and so on. Do you think this is a issue with the Control Panel?
1 Answer Hi John. Remove power. Remove the top. Look at the electrical connectors going to the back of the control panel. They lead to the user interface control board part # WP8181866. If there are no loose connections, then replace the user interface board. Be extremely careful and lay the control board face down on a protected flat surface. This way you will remove the interface board from the key pad as there are many spring loaded switches that will become tricky to deal with. This replacement is do-able just take caution. Thank You.
