Ed December 14, 2025 for Model Number MVWX655DW1 I need to replace the lid lock assembly AND the latch (strike) however the strike doesn't look anything like what is in my machine. I have taken a picture of the strike. Can I send that to you? The strike that is referenced with the lock assembly on your website is different and will not work in my machine. Bobby May 11, 2025 for Model Number WTW5000DW3 Is the latch thats on the lid bad if it has a little play? It has some tension, but is a little loose. Does it supposed to have the tension forward all the time?

Eddie July 03, 2024 for Model Number MVWC565FW3 I keep hearing the lid lock mechanism activate, but then no light comes on and nothing happens, it sounds like it keeps trying to lock. It wont spin or heavy agitate. I wonder if its the lid lock, or a sensor?

Mike February 07, 2024 for Model Number WTW5000DW3 I have ordered the lid lock assembly (Part # W11307244) 2 times. Both times when I received the order, inside the box, was Part # W11253733. The box has a sticker that says Part # W11307244 is enclosed. The part itself says it is W11253733. I know the part sent will work but am concerned there may have been a manufacturing defect in the original part that was corrected in the updated part.

John January 01, 2024 for Model Number 110.5142510 first, my machine did not start. then after starting i think it went through its cycle, but now the lid will not open and no lights are on. i checked the power and it is on. so how do i open the lid to get my clothes out. the problem is probably the lid switch but i still need to get my clothes out of the washer.

The top panel can be lifted up by removing the hinge screws at the back of the top panel.
