Richard for Model Number WTW5000DW3 Washer fills washes but will not spin , when cycle get to pump and spin I hear the lid lock clicking several time but lock light does not come on or finish cycle . when i push cancel washer will drain but not spin ? TIA for your help. has been off balance lately .
Answer Richard, the lid would need to be checked to identify if it is bending in towards the tub. If it is, it is likely causing the strike to not fully seat into the lid lock and would need to be corrected. If not, the lid lock W11307244 would be the most likely cause of failure. In regards to the unit being off balance, the level would need to be checked. If it is properly leveled, the belt W11239857 would need to be inspected for any dry spots. Read More...
