Mike April 27, 2011 for Model Number 6656160 I guess the way I asked that was confusing. What I wanted to know is-is this a 20w bulb? I know they make 40w bulbs for under there also but they are too bright. Thanks and sorry for the confusion, MC.
Mike April 26, 2011 for Model Number kenmore 6656160 Is this the 20 watt bulb for under the microwave?

Edward March 30, 2011 for Model Number MMV6186WS-0 There are 2 bulbs on this particular model - one inside and one which is like a stovetop light underneath the microwave. I am searching for the part numbers for each of these two lights. Kindly advise at your earliest. Thank you.

Tim March 22, 2011 for Model Number MH613OXEQ1 Neither stove top bulb lights when you turn them on from the control board although it does beep when you press the button. I checked for voltage at the socket and there is none, is this a sign that the Micro computer board is faulty? Every thing else on the microwave works fine.
1 Answer Hello Tim. Yes, if there is no voltage at the socket, the board may be bad. Check the black wire at the socket to chasis ground and see if 120 volts is there. If so, the board is bad. Hope this helps. Read More...
Guest March 18, 2011 for Model Number MH1150XMQ3 Stove top bulb blows quit often, I have replaced it several times, it blew recently and the replacement bulb does not work. Could it be the switch or the bulb socket?
1 Answer Hello. You will need to test the switch and see if it is good. You can also test the wires going to the socket to see if there is power there. Hope this helps. Read More...
Jody March 16, 2011 for Model Number mx1140xmq-1 The power had gone out in our home, and when it came back on, I hit the button to turn the light on, it flashed as though the bulb had expired. When my husband removed it, the bulb itself broke, and the base was stuck in the socket, and after finally getting that out, it looked like there was a dab of hot glue (from the manufacturer from shipping??) holding the socket in. We purchased a bulb from Lowe's, but when we got home, it will not even light still. All other functions of the microwave work perfectly - might this be a bulb issue, or something worse such as the board?? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Jody. Check and make sure none of the wires going to the socket have came loose. You can test the wires to the socket and see if your getting power to them. If there is power there, you could have a bulb not rated for this microwave. Hope this helps. Read More...
1 Answer Hello! The 57001073 is no longer available. However, we have the matching replacement suggested by the manufacturer. The part number is 8206232A. Thanks! Read More...
David March 07, 2011 I have the mh1150xmb1 microwave. When it was new the bulb that came with it had two different brightnesses. A low and high. When it burned out I went to home depot and gave them the model number etc.. and they gave me a bulb. I have tried a few other places since then but all the bulbs I buy only have a single brightness. You list this bulb as being for my microwave but I wanted to ask about the brightness and if it will do what the factory bulb did? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello David, the model number brings up a substitution bulb part 8206232A. This bulb has a certain amount of resistance that the control board works with to adjust the brightness. The bulb you bought at your local hardware store might not meet the required resistance for the board to adjust properly. Hope this helps! Read More...
