Syed, If the unit is draining but not spinning after the wash cycle and then does not fill for the rinse and spin then you will want to check to see if the pressure hose is clogged. Also check the water valve screens to make sure that they are not clogged with debris. If clogged clean water valve. You will also want to check the clutch to make sure that it is good.

Allen, When you replaced the motor WP661600 , did you check the drain pump drive hub WP3363394 for noise or a "drag" when you turned the hub. If all's Ok, then you need to lower the gearcase and check the clutch assembly 285785 and brake shoes 285438 for excess wear and slippage. Either of these parts will produce a squealing noise in the spin cycle.

Mr Whirl for Model Number LSR8233JQ1

My washer fills, agitates but won't drain. The lid switch was trashed and with a new one from you it worked great. Now, 6 mos later, it fills and agitates but won't go further. It makes an electrical hum noise like it wants to do something but stops after a minute. About 10 mins later it tries again and won't advance so it stops. I did an ohms test on the lid switch and it is good. After turning the drain pump gears it worked again for a few months but now it is doing it again? Any ideas. Should the drain pump gears be able to spin in both directions?

Jim, You will certainly want to check the pump for obstructions and make sure that the vanes on the impeller are not damaged. If this checks ok then also check to make sure that the springs and pads on the skate plate are good. Normally when a unit is not draining properly it is caused by the tub moving around too much.
