Steve September 29, 2013 washing machine agitates but will not drain , dial advances &makes little sounds then starts to agitates again. Thanks Steve
1 Answer Steve, The first check to make is the lid switch. If the lid switch circuit is "open" the washer will fill and agitate, but it won't drain and spin. Please include a model number, should you need to re post a question, it helps to determine the other possible issues Read More...

Francisco August 12, 2013 for Model Number LBR5133AWO Everytime I wash my clothes, they come out full of lint, theres lint all over my clothes. My question is why is the machine doig this ?
1 Answer Francisco, lint remaining on the clothes after a wash cycle is due to several possibilities, none of which are the machines issue. Usually the washer is being overloaded, too many articles to allow the clothes to circulate in the water. Not enough detergent for the load size and degree of soil, water not hot or warm enough to properly activate the detergent chemicals, and "Mixed" loads. Never fill the tub higher than the top of the vanes on the agitator, do not pack the clothes down in the tub, load them 2 or 3 articles at a time, distribute them evenly around the tub / agitator. use the warmest wash water temperature for the type load, and the recommended amount of detergent for the load size and degree of soil. Do not mix polyesters / man made materials with cotton / natural fibers articles natural fibers, produce lint, man made fibers attract lint. This should help solve the lint issue . Read More...
Puzzled Man August 01, 2013 for Model Number Rtw4043sq0 I have a washer roper model rtw4043sq0 when I turn it on it run for about a second and then hums for about 20 seconds and then nothing. I check the lid switch it's ok any other solution?
1 Answer Puzzled, The drain pump WP3363394 would be a good place to start, if there is a small article in the pump ( sock, hanky, etc.) or if the impeller bearings are seized, this will jam the pump and the motor wont start and run. If the pump is not the issue, you'll need to circuit test the timer and the motor windings circuits to determine the issue in which component. Read More...
