Sonny June 22, 2014 for Model Number GS2SHGXKT01 Lately within the freezer area ice has begun to build up on the ice chute dispensing area and also where the cubes exit the ice tray. I correct the problem by pouring very hot water on those areas, but the build up comes back in two to three days. Not sure what part needs to be replaced. Basically this means that when the ice level gets up to the point that the bale arm cannot drop all the way back down, it is like an off switch and power is not supplied for the icemaker motor to cycle again.
