The Whirlpool top load washer agitator inner cap seal is an OEM replacement part responsible for providing a tight seal and preventing water from leaking in to the agitator. The inner cap seal is located underneath the agitator cap at the top of the agitator assembly.

Over time, the Inner Cap Seal can become worn, cracked, or damaged due to repeated exposure to water, detergents, and the high-speed spinning of the tub. A faulty seal can lead to water leaks, excessive noise, and potential damage to other components.

This part fixes the following symptoms:

  • Water leaking from the agitator assembly during operation
  • Excessive splashing or spraying of water during the wash cycle
  • The agitator not moving or agitating properly
  • Visible wear, tears, or damage to the inner cap seal
  • Difficulty in removing or reattaching the agitator assembly

The Whirlpool inner cap seal can also be used on Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore/Sears brand appliances.
