Mark for Model Number Model JDC2389GE JENN AIR

1. The water dispenser does not have the pressure it once had to dispense water. When the depressed it starts out fine but then starts to triggle out. I changed the water filter and also left the freezer door open hoping to thaw the line out, but I am still unsuccessful. 2. The change filter light on the front panel is constantly on showing a red light, when I depress it after changing my filter it still stays red. thank you in advance

Hello Mark, the filter reminder reset procedure is to press the Dispenser lock and light keypads together for 3 sec, if it does not reset then the filter circuit is faulty, the filter board is part WP61005274. the indicator light does not affect the water dispenser operation it is just a reminder light. For the water flow problem, you will need to disconnect parts of the water system in turn to test for the source of the lack of flow/pressure, start by removing the water tube connecting the ref to the house water supply.

Pat, To clear the clog in the refrigerator you will use hot water to melt the ice in the drain tube. Pull the unit out and remove the lower cover. Access the drain and pay attention to how it is routed. Unplug the unit and remove the drain line. Flush the drain line thoroughly and reinstall the drain line.

Fred, At the bottom of the door there is a connection for the water line. Disconnect the water line and hit the dispenser and see if water comes out. If water comes out then the issue is the water tube in the door being frozen and will need to be thawed. If not then go to the back of the unit and see if there is 120 vac coming to the water valve when the dispenser is pushed. If there is 120 vac then you either have a frozen water tank or the valve is faulty.

Hello Paulibra. For the issue you are having, you will need to order and replace the actuator pad 61003804 on the unit. You will need to apply grease on the button inside the pad to help in preventing the issue you are having. If you try the grease on the old pad, and the issue continues, you will need to replace the pad in the unit.

Hi. Remove the Fountain spill catcher. Remove the hidden lower screws and lift up and out to remove the fountain control panel. The control board unplugs from 2 wire connections. Make sure they are connected tight and are not pinched. If you have to fold the ribbon cable, fold it at a 90°. We have seen where both fountain boards are affected as both boards need changed as well. Replace the main board part # WP61003425 and momentarily connect and test the fountain board part # WP61003421 along with it. If it does not stop the continuous light and return normal commands then change both boards. It may be possible that you have taken a power surge at one time and wiped out both boards. Thank You.

Hi Jose. There is a single wire , beside the larger pin connector that you had to unplug going into the kit. It is on the lower left side. This wire goes to the light neutral and the board neutral. Inspect the entire connections to the controls carefully and inspect all connections. Hope this helps. Thank you.
