Rm January 05, 2015 for Model Number GY397LXUS03 I just connected this oven range to my power 3 wire power cord. The stove is working fine, but I am not getting any reading on the clock, the buttons don't respond and it seems dead. Can this be a control panel that is bad?
1 Answer Hello RM. Test and see if there is power coming to the clock in the unit. If so, you will need to replace the clock WP8507P390-60 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. 1 Answer Craig, You will want to test for voltage at the control board. Check to make sure that there is 240 vac from L1 to Bake when set for the bake cycle. 1 Answer Bruno, Here you go,: 1. Turn off the gas supply and electrical power to the range. 2. Remove the grates and burner caps. 3. Remove the knobs from the controls.4. Unsnap the two clips at the inner control locations and lift the front edge of the control panel glass, then slide the top edge of the glass out of the control panel flange, and remove it.5. To remove the electronic oven control: a) Remove the two screws from the bezel and window and remove them from the control panel. b) Remove the two screws from the bracket, lift the electronic oven control assembly off the control panel, and rotate it back so you can access the connectors. c) Disconnect the three connectors from the electronic oven control. 6. To remove the control panel: a) Remove the ten (10) screws (5 on each side), and the two side screws in the end caps, from the control panel. b) Open the oven door and remove the three screws holding the bottom of the control panel to the range. c) Remove the control panel from the range by pulling it forward and lifting it at the front. d) To remove an end cap, remove the two mounting screws (1 top & 1 bottom).
