Hello Greg, you'll want to do a voltage test on the cold water valve when it should be receiving voltage from the timer. If voltage is present you'll need to replace the water valve part number WP3979346, if not present you'll want to replace the timer. Thanks!

Hello Sam. It sounds like the pressure switch W10337781 is the issue. I know you are saying it is testing good. However, if the tub is empty, violet to purple should read closed and violet to tan should read open. Then if you blow through the pressure hose, this should change. I know you know how to use a meter, but to help those who do not, I will attach this link. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hello Karl, This sounds like the motor is being supplied 120Vac from more than one source at the same time. This can be the fault of the cycle switch WP8578416, the harness 3958086 can be shorted, the motor switch WP8529896 can be stuck, or the timer 280223 can have a stuck set of contacts. Depending on the wiring configuration of the unit, the lid switch WP8318084 may be the only issue since some wiring configurations allow the unit to fill and agitate but not spin if the lid is opened. Of course the logical way to determine the cause of the issue is by using the wiring diagram on the unit and a test meter to determine the exact cause of the issue.
