Brad S January 06, 2014 for Model Number GHW9150PW4 Is this 8182862 part number a genuine OEM part or a replacement part?
Ed November 23, 2013 for Model Number wfw9200sq00 Washes fine until rinse cycle then flashes F20 checked hoses and screens they are fine.
1 Answer Hello Ed. It sounds like the unit is siphoning out the water in the unit. Check and make sure there is only 6" of drain hose in the drain pipe. Also, make sure the drain pipe is 36" off the floor in height. You will need to check and make sure the drain hose has an air gap going into the drain pipe. If it is air tight, it will siphon. Nick August 31, 2013 for Model Number MFW9700SQ1 Just put in the 2nd replacement water valve (8182862) in my Maytag and I am still getting the "FH" error message. I have great water pressure coming from the wall. My question is could it bee too much pressure? When it first gave the message over a month ago I bought the first replacement and the washer worked good for a month then the error re-appeared, after replacing the 2nd one it did two loads and re-appeared. If not the high pressure, what else could be creating this message? Oh by the way! I did open the front of the pump and found a bunch of things in there (pennies, parts of pens etc.) and cleaned that out so the pump should not be an issue. Anticipating your response. Thanks, Nick
1 Answer Nick, The FH error code is an indication that there is no water detected entering the machine or pressure switch trip not detected. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine, the valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. OR If the control has turned the water valves on and after 8 minutes the flow sensor has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off and the error code will flash. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. Here are the things that you want to check: Possible Causes / Procedure ¦ If there is no water in the unit: —Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way. —Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves. —Verify inlet valve operation. ¦ If there is water in the unit: —Verify drain pump operation. —Verify that the pressure switch hose is in good condition and properly connected to tub and pressure switch. 1. Verify there is not a siphon problem. 2. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 3. Verify wire harness connections to inlet valves, pressure switch, drain pump, flow meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Check all hoses for possible leaks. 5. Plug in washer or reconnect power 6. Verify pressure switch operation. 7. Verify flow meter operation by blowing air through the part and measuring the resistance. 8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle. Read More...
Daniela July 05, 2013 for Model Number WFW70HEBW Water continues to run in washer when off. replaced hoses for hot and cold. Looks like cold line is the issue. Do I need to replace/check inlet valve? Thanks

Tyler April 27, 2013 for Model Number ghw9400plo What is the difference between water valve OEM and water inlet valve. Where are the two located on the washing maching
1 Answer Tyler, The water valve inlet is the water valve that your hoses connect to on the back of the unit. If you are needing a water valve this is the one for your unit. WP8181694 Read More...
Doug April 25, 2013 for Model Number GHW9300PW4 My washer runs about 8 minutes or so into a new cycle then generates an HF or FH error and drains the machine and will not complete the wash. I was told to replace the flowmeter but this model does not have one. It looks like it utilizes a fill valve/solenoid assembly and I need to get this running. Wife is upset as we have been without a washer for almost a week and laundry is piling up. What can I check next?
1 Answer Doug, The FH error code indicates that there is no water detected entering the machine or the pressure switch trip not detected. You will want to check the following: Possible Causes / Procedure ¦ If there is no water in the unit: —Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way. 1.
