This replacement capillary tape is the insulation/fastening tape used to secure capillary tubing on refrigeration and freezer temperature control assemblies. It helps keep the capillary tube routed and protected for reliable temperature sensing. What it does:

• Secures and insulates capillary tubing so the sensing tube stays in the correct position
• Minimizes heat transfer and vibration that can affect temperature sensing
• Helps prevent kinks, rubbing, or contact with hot/cold surfaces that can cause erratic operation
• Common symptom linkage: used when temperature control is inconsistent, cooling cycles are irregular, or capillary tubing is loose or exposed

• Turn off and unplug the appliance before starting any work
• Handle capillary tubing gently—do not crimp, pinch, or sharply bend the tube
• Re-route and secure the tube following the original path; wrap tape without over-tightening
